Complaints Handling In Person Event (26PCH08)

Medical admin teams and allied health professionals can play a very important part in the way that complaints are handled within the practice. This session focuses on the part that every person in the practice plays in reducing the risk of complaints and claims. The session explores what happens when a complaint is lodged and the potential repercussions with AHPRA, the Medical Board or other complaint authorities. It explores ways in which each person can make a difference to a potential complaint and ways in which we can identify and track common complaints so that we can reduce future occurrences. This session will also cover ways in which we can deal with difficult patients and situations.
